WILL TO POWER?

This piece was already in progress, based on a life drawing, when I visited a small wooded area outside of Chicago. I had a good time just walking through the woods alone. This is an experience I'm sure many others have shared. I realized after a while that I had small thorny burs stuck all over me. Of coarse nature isn't all good, and conversely the city (or the human) isn't all bad. I had been reading some philosophy, including a touch on Nietzche's "Will to Power" concept. What I thought was Nietzsche's overall point seemed to relate to my experience. While there was still the question of whether I actually understood Nietzche's intended point, and the question of whether I agreed with this point, I had found my title for this piece that day : Will to Power?
