Here is the final art for the wrap around cover. It is written By Michael Curtis and slated to be the next module in the DCC RPG line.
Below is the pencil drawing.
And, here are some initial sketches and roughs made prior to the decision to make it a wrap around cover.
I’m going to start posting all (hopefully) the Dream Blade concept art I did in the past in easily digestable pieces here. Some of this stuff has been seen before, but I believe a lot of it has only been seen publicly in very limited ways. For instance you may have flipped through my physical portfolio of all the concept art at conventions, or seen a few things back when Wizards was promoting the game. I did a decent amount of work on it and would like it to be seen. I don’t know that I would call any of it high art or my best work but it still exists as a fairly important period in my art life up until this point. Here is the first one:::
Below is an earlier version of the idea, the top one is the one that got used
I’m not exactly sure where this is going to appear but it will appear somewhere… just completed. I realized I signed it twice for whatever distracted reason, but left it as a curiosity. That doesn’t happen very often.

This might give you an idea of what goes on inside. Or, once did.

This new wizard first appears on the end sheet at the very beginning of the DCC book. He doesn’t have a name yet.
For some reason Jobe didn’t like the part of this banner I made up for the podcast that includes me with a spider on my head. Go figure.
